Abstract | The collective bargaining agreement between Montgomery Community College Board of Trustees and the Montgomery College Chapter of the American Association of University Professors (AAUP) covering the period June 26, 1986 to June 30, 1990 is presented. Items covered in the agreement are: definitions and unit recognition; management functions; grievance procedure; arbitration; faculty appointments; tenure; procedure for discharge for just cause; conduct of the hearing; reduction in force; workload for teaching faculty, counselors, librarians, and learning resource faculty; sick leave; court attendance leave; bereavement leave; professional meeting leave; sabbatical leave; extended leave without pay; personal leave; short-term disability benefits; released time; dues deduction; academic year and summer session salaries for faculty and other staff; insurance; educational assistance program; faculty development program; retirement incentive program; no strike/no lockout.
