Abstract	An audit of the financial transactions of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB) is presented. The report begins with brief reviews of CPB's history, its corporate organization, and its program goals and corporate functions. Following these, summary statements of the corporation's total revenues, grant and program expenses, and accumulated administrative costs are given. Observations on CPB's long-term lease liability and upon the policy of apportioning funds to CPB on a periodic rather than a lump-sum basis are offered. The last major section is devoted to detailed statements of net assets, changes in net assets for the fiscal year 1972, and notes to the statements. (PB)
