Abstract | This second evaluation report confirms the considerable gains made by each Europe School since the project began in October 1992. The year can be said to be a highly successful one especially in forming an international network of Associated Europe Schools and lauching an inaugural conference with 150 delegates from 14 countries. The main objectives for 1995/1996 are in implementing certain key areas of the five European schools principles, the firm installation of a development planning process in each school and a determination to identify agreed success criteria and performance indicators to match the evident clarity of intention. An "Ideal Type Europe School" is being forged through the work of the five European schools and the emergence of their capacity to lead multilateral school partnerships and to develop a European Dimension across the curriculum represents a significant contribution at the local, national and European level.
