AbstractThe 15th volume of the "Collective Bargaining in Higher Education and the Professions" bibliography is intended to continue as a major research tool for those involved in either the study of or the practice of collective bargaining in higher education. It, along with the other volumes, documents the historical development and growth of collective bargaining in higher education. This particular volume, unlike the others, does not contain a listing of court cases and administrative orders (because the volume of reported cases has grown to a proportion that referencing them is best left to the courts and legal reporting services). Five sections include the following: (1) faculty bibliography (e.g. academic freedom, collective bargaining, comparable worth, due process, financial exigency, fringe benefits, merit pay, non-faculty, retirement, retrenchment, salaries, strikes, tenure, and women faculty); (2) professions and professionals bibliography (health care administration and institutions, health care professions, nurses, professions, and professions-sports); (3) information guides (bibliographies and directories, resources and periodicals, and useful sources of information); (4) indices (author and subject) and (5) acronyms and abbreviations.
