Abstract | This curriculum guide consists of seven topic areas, major generalizations for each topic covered, and suggested teaching and learning methods. The major topics are: 1) economics, 2) pre-industrial history, 3) science, 4) politics, 5) economic development and industrialization, 6) the economic situation in the student's own country and locality, and, 7) social and cultural change.
