The article outlines a critical ethical self-concept in the field of social services and health services. It claims on the one hand that discussions in the near future will focus on models of systematically person based and process-oriented delivery of social and health services. On the other hand we see that human condition is multi-dimensional in a non-systematical way and that ethical quality is defined in relation to this condition. Regarding the fact that systematic approaches are by themselves not related to this condition and that their ethical quality is questionable, professionals need a critical ethical self-understanding in order to re-orientate their models doing ethics in their practical work. |
