Abstract | A survey of 235 Virginia vocational teachers examined 6 internal characteristics that would affect stress: role preparedness, job satisfaction, life satisfaction, illness symptoms, locus of control, and self-esteem. Role preparedness, illness symptoms, and self-esteem were significant contributors in explaining teacher stress. (SK) |
