Abstract | A survey of 1,093 professional and managerial personnel received 497 responses supporting the hypotheses that (1) pay satisfaction and life satisfaction are positively related; (2) the relationship is stronger for those with high financial requirements; and (3) the relationship is stronger for males with high financial requirements.
