Abstract | The wide dissemination of technology in museums is gradually establishing the need for a critical validation of its use in the process of sustaining the learning process. This paper examines the results of the use of a Virtual Reality application with the aim of teaching the subject of Arts Education to the pupils of the Fifth grade of Primary school. The objective of this action is to study the combination of Virtual Reality with Arts Education, so as to cast the latter more interesting and appealing to the students. Some individual aims are to investigate the attitudes and the views of students on the introduction of New Technologies to the Primary school curriculum, to examine the way through which technology is utilized in activities related to museums and, finally, to augment the interest and the participation of the students in the subject of Arts Education.
