Abstract | As our communities age, it is increasingly important to address the needs of older adults and their families. Aging-friendly community initiatives can help older adults age in place in their homes or communities and support the well-being of their families and caregivers. We developed and evaluated the demand for and practicality of a facilitation guide for program development in aging-friendly communities. Findings indicate Extension educators perceived a need for this programming in their communities and felt that the facilitation guide would help them present on this topic. Educators also indicated that the programs would have positive effects on the communities they serve. (As Provided). |
