Abstract | The author examines selected aspects of mentorship and its value to the Association for Career and Technical Education Research (ACTER). He describes the Collaborative Mentoring Theory and the key elements of Daloz's Mentoring Model. Highlights of types of mentoring and suggested characteristics of Generation Xers and Millennials are reported. He argues that a collaborative mentorship framework for prospective ACTER leaders would be a welcome change for professional development and growth of the organization. Benefits of mentoring and recommended suggestions for sustaining the ACTER are identified. (As Provided). |
