Abstract | This study examined attitude dimensions of secondary school social studies teachers towards computer usage in Kogi State Nigeria. Qualification and Gender influence on their use was examined. Participants were 427 (Male = 224; female = 203) social studies teachers. Sampling was purposive and random. The study adopted the survey design. Data were collected through a Questionnaire and analyzed using mean and standard deviation to answer the research questions while t-test was used to test the hypotheses at 0.05 level of significance. The study revealed that Social studies teachers with higher qualification have higher negative attitude towards the use of computer than those with lower qualification. Male social studies teachers have higher negative attitude towards the use of computer than their female counterparts. However, no significant difference was established between male and female social studies teachers and use of computer. It closes with recommendation. (As Provided). |
