Abstract	The 1994 Telematics for Education and Training Conference, attended by more than 1,000 people, provided an overview of the most state-of-the-art telematics systems for learning, in terms of both technological and pedagogical innovation, in a European and global context. This proceedings contains the opening remarks and 73 papers chosen out of more than 30 demonstrations and 100 presentations and workshops.
