Abstract | Listed in the directory are over 200 educational programs and services for deaf blind children in the United States and U. S. territories. It is noted that the 10 coordinators of regional centers for services to deaf blind children have aided in compilation of the directory. Listings are arranged by state within the New England, Mid-Atlantic (North and Caribbean), Mid-Atlantic, South-East, Mid-West, Central, South-Central, Mountains Plains, South-Western, and North-West Regions,. Given for each region are the name, address, and telephone number of the regional coordinator. Usually given for each listing is the director's name of school or service, address, and telephone number. In some cases listings include number of classes offered and the type of service such as residential or day school, and kind of educational program. (MC) |
