Abstract | This study presents selected results from the ‘LQ4U research project – Teenagers from Northern Tyrol (Austria) and Southern Tyrol (Italy) develop visions on sustainable quality of life, focusing on the question of whether innovative learning settings and the use of new media can support Education for Sustainable Development. The project is founded on the ideas of moderate constructivism and the theory that sustainable learning processes can only be stimulated successfully if brought about in a motivating, self-directed, exploratory manner and if based on authentic problems. Its core idea is doing research on teenagers by assisting and observing teenagers doing research. (Orig.). |
