Abstract | Aus der Einleitung:: Der Codex Vindobonensis phil. Buch" von A gefunden habe. From the introduction (translation): The Codex Vindobonensis phil. Gr. 65, which is kept in the Austrian National Library, is a mathematical manuscript written by two anonymous authors (which are called A and B here). It contains 163 sheets with 36 lines per page. In the article, the author presents a series of demanding problems from number theory and algebra, which he has found in the "2nd book" by A. The original solutions (in modern notation) are compared with contemporary solution methods. |
