| Abstract | We will try to explain the connections between research as a way to produce learned knowledge, the contributions of the people involved in the education system with practical knowledge, and drawing up public policies. We will focus on the Québec's Council of Education, body advising the minister of education and the government of Quebec. We will look at what method of work was set up by this body to fulfil its mission. We will present some concrete examples that explain how this council gives its opinion and has an influence on the making of some education policies. To finish, we will give some suggestions to strengthen the connections between research, practioners´ circles, and the making of education policies. (DIPF/orig.). |
