Methodologically speaking, it is difficult to assess the effects of further-training courses-including courses on teaching principles. However, one participant in the editor's workshop has found a relatively easy way to search for effects. She presents an experience report on the transfer of further training content to her own teaching. In her article the author presents the way to structure a course on the basis of an understanding of learning and its constraints rather than the inherent system of the subject matter. Interest in basic principles is encouraged by giving precedence to tackling a complex problem and formulating practical solutions. The "rest" then follows as a matter of necessity. As the author concludes: "I have never seen students working so continuously and intensively." (HoF/text adopted). |
