AbstractThis publication is intended to be a practical professional aid for teachers and teacher-educators who are involved in curriculum innovation in respect of equal opportunities in teacher education. The publication consists of four parts. In the first it takes up the question of why curriculum innovation is important in this context and gives examples of various strategies for curriculum development in this field. In the second it gives advice on stages in curriculum planning and development. The third part more specifically contains a guide to planning a project. The fourth contains a list of projects in European Community and Nordic countries, contact addresses, databases and centres of women's research in education. Addresses of organisations concerned with equal opportunities in teacher education are included as well. The fourth part also contains an annotated list of bibliographies with relevance to teacher education. (DIPF/text taken from the original).
