Abstract | A pupil or student is obviously the recipient of any physical education (PE) efforts. Like parents, teachers, administrators and any other directly or indirectly involved parties, students do have opinions and views on their respective PE classes and PE in general. These opinions, or so-called attitudes, are important to research due to their potential insight to the student's perspective. Students' attitudes towards PE are influenced by several factors, such as, for instance, gender, self-perception, and motivational structures influence. Moreover, the degree of physical and sporting activities and exercise behaviour in general, as well as parents' and peers' points of view may be connected to students' attitudes, too. The purpose of this review is to feature the research findings concerning students' attitudes towards PE, including research instruments and future directions of research. Verf.-Referat. |
