Abstract	In summing up, teacher-education in Greece is still trying to adapt itself to the new demanding conditions of the developing society. Teacher-education is a universal claim during the last decades, but there are no measures nor concrete activities or legislation promoting life-long learning conceptions. These are more considered as an ideological form of abstract debates and less as a part of changing the reality of teacher-education. It is vital to make the educational agents explicitly aware of the fact that teacher-education has to be put in the perpective of life-long learning, excluding no learning experience within the tife-time of each human being. Life-long learning concepts should be embedded in the central curriculum of all organizations being involved in teacher-education. Educators will thus be able to enlarge their horizons and experience, promoting at the same time international understanding and awareness. (DIPF/orig.).
