Abstract	"Public services are essential for achieving high levels of social protection, social cohesion and social inclusion. However, to be effective in this regard, services must be of good quality and they must be equally accessible to the broadest possible range of citizens. Care services in particular represent a key component of social protection for EU citizens, improving quality of life and access to education and employment. This report reveals citizens' perceptions of quality in healthcare, long-term care and childcare, and compares them between countries, groups in society and the receivers of care and indirect service users."
