| Abstract | Adequately mastered fundamental motor skills (FPD) in the preschool period are an important basic for the later participation of children in many recreational and sport physical activities. The aim of this study was to assess the actual level of FPD of Czech boys and girls in the last year of the preschool period, and at the same time to find possible gender differences. The research sample involved 121 six-year-old children (61 boys and 60 girls) from eight nursery schools from the Prague region. The "Movement Assessment Battery for Children-second version" (MABC-2) motor test was used for assessment of FPD. Slightly substandard results (especially in girls) of the total test score (CTS) in the MABC-2 test showed healthy motor development of boys and girls without any significant gender differences. We also found no gender differences in subtests of fine motor and balance skills, and the values varied around the population mean. However, we found significantly worse results for the standard score in girls in comparison with boys in the subtest of gross motor skills (aiming and catching) (7,9 ± 1,7 vs 9,6 ± 1,5; p ( 0.01; r = 0,49). The low level of gross motor skills found in girls is considered to be important, and a warning finding. It is evident that mastered manipulative skills (e.g. aiming, throwing, catching) are prerequisites for participation in many physical recreation and sport activities at a later school age. (Autor). Adekvátní zvládnuté fundamentální pohybové dovednosti (FPD) v predskolním veku jsou základem pro pozdejsí úcast detí v rade rekreacních ci sportovních pohybových aktivit. Cílem studie bylo zjistit aktuální úroven FPD u ceských chlapcu a dívek v posledním roce predskolního období a zároven odhalit mozné pohlavní rozdí[y. Výzkumný soubor zahrnoval 121 6letých detí (61 chlapcu a 60 dívek) z osmi materských skolek v prazském regionu. Pro hodnocení úrovne FPD byl pouzit standardizovaný motorický test,, Movement Assessment Battery for Children-second version" (MABC-2). Lehce podprumerné hodnoty (zvláste u dívek) ukazatele celkového testového skóre (CTS) v testu MABC-2 poukazují na celkove zdravý motorický vývoj bez signifikantních pohlavních rozdílu. V subtestu jemné motoriky a rovnováhy nebyly zjisteny signifikantní rozdíly a hodnoty oscilují kolem populacního prumeru. Naopak v subtestu hrubé motoriky (mírení a chytání) jsme zjistili významne horsí standardní skóre u dívek v porovnání s chlapci (7,9 ± 1,7 vs. 9,6 ± 1,5; p ( 0,01; r = 0,49). Nízkou úroven dovedností z oblasti hrubé motoriky zjistenou u dívek povazujeme za dulezité a zároven varovné zjistení. Je totiz zrejmé, ze úcast v rade rekreacních a sportovních pohybových aktivit si klade za cíl zvládnuté manipulativní dovednosti typu mírení, házení, chytání. (Autor). |
