Abstract	Mit diesem Beitrag erfolgt ein erziehungswissenschaftlicher Kommentar zu Kurt Lüschers Überlegungen zu einer Sozialisationstheorie der Ambivalenz. Dabei wird zunächst die bisher nur implizite Auseinandersetzung mit Ambivalenzen in Traditionen der Sozialisationstheorie herausgearbeitet und diese über die vorwiegende Beschäftigung mit unterschiedlichen Sozialisationsmechanismen und deren Gesellschaftsbezügen begründet. Darauf aufbauend wird die Bereicherung durch die - von Lüscher formulierte - ambivalenztheoretisch fundierte Sozialisationstheorie reflektiert. Über die Thematisierung ambivalenter Prozesse, der damit einhergehenden Verflüssigung des Spannungsverhältnisses von Individuum und Gesellschaft und der Hervorhebung von generativen Prozessen der Identitätsbildung ermöglicht diese heuristische Theorieperspektive vielfältige (empirische) Anschlussmöglichkeiten. Aus erziehungswissenschaftlicher Perspektive ergeben sich vor allem Anschlüsse an eine Reflexion des Umgangs mit Ambivalenzen als Bildungsziel im Kontext von globalisierten und komplexen (Welt-)Gesellschaften und eine interdisziplinäre Betrachtung von Sozialisationsprozessen im Kontext von Life-History-Ansätzen. Damit wird auch die Auseinandersetzung mit dem Menschenbild einer ambivalenzsensiblen Sozialisationstheorie nötig. This article presents an educational science commentary on Kurt Lüscher´s reflections concerning the socialisation theory of ambivalence. It initially describes the previously implicit examination of ambivalences in the traditions of socialization theory. This is substantiated by primarily focusing on the various mechanisms of socialisation and their relationship to society. Then the enrichment through socialization theory based on the ambivalence theory - as formulated by Lüscher - is reflected upon. By discussing ambivalent processes and the accompanying liquefactionof tension relationships between the individual and society, together with the emphasis on generative constructions of identities, this heuristic theoretical perspective presents a variety of possibilities for (empirical) connections. From the perspective of educational science, this primarily results in relating to a reflective way of coping with ambivalences as an educational objective within the context of globalised and complex (world) societies, as well as an interdisciplinary discourseon the socialisation process within the context of life history approaches. Furthermore, this also requires examining the concept of the human being in a socialisation theory that is sensitive to ambivalences.
