The term "effect" has limitations for the description or measurement of the complexity in non-profit-organisations. Different concepts of Evidence-based Practices, of Effect Controlling and qualitative research of effects are discussed in this contribution. New concepts like the CAIMeR-Model and the inclusion of qualitative evidences are much more appropriate for Social Work as pure quantitative concepts, which are in fact against their own proposition rather gold-plated dummies than gold-standard. |
