AbstractToday, as seen from teaching experience, the area related to training of mentally sound, healthy children and adolescents, not only possessing a certain amount of knowledge and skills, but also capable of managing their mental state, being compassionate and responsive should be a priority in secondary schools. The paper contains the theoretical and practical aspects of the training of future teachers of physical education. The essence of personal anxiety and as a consequence aggression of teenage schoolchildren is revealed. Measures of readiness of future specialists in the field of physical education to work with adolescents with increased levels of anxiety are given in the work. The results of the experiment on the development of professional competencies in students of university of physical culture are presented. The paper shows that new demands are placed on the competency of graduates of sports related universities. The most important problem is training of physical education teachers for secondary schools and lyceums, willing to work with today's adolescents who are in difficult social relationships with their peers and the environment. The purpose of the research was to study some of the methods of training of physical education teachers to work with adolescents who have increased levels of anxiety. The study was conducted at the premises of the Department of Pedagogics and the Department of theory and methodology of dance sports and ballet pedagogics of UraIGUFK (Ural State University of Physical Culture). The experiment was carried out at the premises of secondary schools No. 56 and 59 in Chelyabinsk and aimed at identification of some approaches to the formation of professional competences of future bachelors in the sphere of physical education. In the experimental work, students specializing in "Physical Education" approved in the framework of school teaching practicum the technology of physical education lessons to reduce the level of anxiety, stress and prevent aggressive behavior among adolescents.
