The overall theme of the 2020 conference is “One for all – all for one” highlighting that both first year students, older students, academic teachers and administrative staff all have an important part to play in integrating the newly arrived students in the best possible way. Through keynotes, paper sessions, workshops and networking the delegates will get rich opportunity to share and expand their knowledge and experiences on giving first year students the best possible experience. The conference addresses three subthemes: Being and becoming a first year student; Teaching first year students; Supporting the transition. March 15th 2020: Conference registration opens; May 15th 2020: Conference registration closes.
