Searching the data sources of your institution

If your computer is connected to an institution that is registered with our portal, you will automatically be offered a link by which you can search and find literature within the stock of your institution. We thus compare the IP address of your computer with entries in our registry. Your IP address will not be saved. If you are using our service from outside the registered networks,you can manually select the affiliated institution from the list “select institution” and thus create the above mentioned link.

Electronic database of journals (EZB) UB Regensburg

If your computer is part of a network of an institution that has been registered with us and the title of a journal for a chosen reference is incorporated into the EZB, , a link will be displayed that guides you to the respective entry, where you will be given further details regarding availability.

Locally independent services

Display of links depends on the document type:
Journal articles – if available – will contain a link to the matching entry of the journal title in the database of journals (ZDB) at the state library Berlin, where information can be found about libraries with a licence to the journal,. A link to the order form at the delivery service Subito immediately transfers the data to the order form. You need an account there to order a copy of an article, and there is a fee for ordering.
Book publications will create a link to the Wikipedia ISBN search site from where you can check availability across a large number of catalogues
