Abstract | Using an earlier study which showed that teachers emphasize learner-centered behavior and deemphasize controlling behavior when teaching adults, researchers analyzed the factors of responsiveness and control in the behavior of school teachers and college instructors and developed a scale for measuring differences in teaching younger and older students.
