Abstract	"The European Union and its Member States are committed to protecting the environment and to developing a sustainable, low-carbon economy with more 'green' jobs. According to the study, about 21 million jobs in Europe are linked to the environment in some way. This report is organized as follows: Chapter 2 presents the current and future environment-related structural employment trends. Chapter 3 describes the current and future skills profiles in environment-related industries. Chapter 4 explains the impact of environment policies and schemes on employment. Chapter 5 discusses the life-long learning activities of environmental employees." Forschungsmethode: empirisch-quantitativ; empirisch; prognostisch.
