| Abstract | The author draws together the results of two years of accreditation proceedings which have been underway in nine Faculties in the Czech Republic. He describes the point of departure of the working committee's deliberations, the methology and the main finding from three departments: the psychology department, the education department, and the unit for teacher training for the first level of Basic School. He carefully analyses the main trends in the work of each department which was surveyed, the concept behind the teaching discipline, problems with course literature, the particular research and publishing activities carried out in each department, the complexities of the staffing situation and cooperation between the departments and other Faculty units. In the conclusion he reports on the recommendations made by the working commitee to the accreditation commission. (DIPF/Abstract übernommen) |
