| Abstract | In Romania, the situation of elderly people is confused and educational offers almost inexistent. I identified a non-exhaustive list of learning barriers for older adults: 1) poverty; 2) lack of staff and 3) inadequate legislation. Yet, there is an entrenched culture that requires that older people stay at home, which could be a strong element for " intergenerational learning together". To face the challenges mentioned, I propose to: 1) guarantee a decent standard of living; 2) rethink old age in order to promote a positive image; 3) strengthen the "associative pole"; 4) build interdisciplinary teams and 5) stimulate intergenerational solidarity. (DIPF/Orig.). En Roumanie, la situation des personnes âgées est confuse et les offres éducatives quasi-inexistantes. Nous avons identifié une liste non-exhaustive d'obstacles à l'apprentissage pour les personnes âgées : 1) pauvreté; 2) manque de personnel et 3) législation inadéquate. Pourtant, une culture enracinée exige que la personne âgée demeure à la maison, élément fort pour l' "apprendre ensemble intergénérationnel". Pour faire face aux défis évoqués, nous proposons : 1) un niveau de vie décent; 2) repenser la vieillesse; 3) renforcer le "pôle associatif"; 4) des équipes interdisciplinaires et 5) stimuler la solidarité intergénérationnelle.
