Abstract	This book is about changes in learning and instruction and implications for learners, teachers, designers and policy makers. Many of the relevant changes are related to new technologies and developing views of how, when, where and why people manage to learn different kind of things more or less effectively. Today's learners face constant change. Adaptive learner expertise is key to their survival on a learning journey that lasts a lifetime. This requires new thinking of all actors in the learning environmental.
