Abstract	"From an intercultural and inter-temporal perspective this series focuses on societal transformations. Key issues of contributions in social sciences, economics and cultural studies are actors, length and differentiation of trans-formation processes, transformations in comparison to evolutionary processes, governance of transformations, and transformations in the context of globalization. The articles of this book discuss social and educational challenges in migration and transformation processes in selected countries of Europe, North America and Africa. The authors discuss problems of human rights, the increasing cultural diversity, and the identity crises resulting from these processes. They concentrate on pedagogical and socio-psychological issues and refer to new research contexts on migration processes and their perspectives for intercultural education." (author's abstract).
