Abstract | The article describes traditions and conditions for development of innovative schools in Russia. Starting with a brief retrospect to "alternative approaches " in the Tsarist period and the first decade after the October Revolution, an overview is given on the period on the movement of the "Pedagogic Innovators" in the Perestroika period. The main part is introduced by description of the legal provisions based on the Education Act of 1992, and of the overall conditions of the education system. The presentation of the three innovatory projects pay an immediate contribution to how "pedagogic laboratories" operate in present-day Russia. (DIPF/orig.) |
