Der Artikel will zu weiteren Forschungen über Harry Maòrs Beitrag zur Theoriedebatte innerhalb der Sozialarbeitswissenschaft anregen On the basis of a short description of rabbinic social traditions and the jewish concept ethic for justice and commitment the question is raised, wether it is appropriate to talk of jewish social work at all and if jewish social ethics can be seen as the basis of professionalism in social work. Thereafter Harry Maòr's livework will be described. Maòr created the concept of a "jewish social work as identificatory cultural work". The article means to inspire to deeper researches on Harry Maòrs contribution to the debate about theories in the field of academical social work. |
