Access for Guest Users

The free access for guests allows you to gain insight into the scope of the information service provided by the German Education Index, and to assess its value for your informational requirements. The access for guest users offers you the following functions:

• unlimited search options of the German Education Index,
• unlimited "short display" of results,
• full display of sample search results (limited to two results),
• print and transfer function (limited to two results).

How it works: You can perform a relevant search quest in order to test the database. Your results are displayed in a shortlist. You are required to register as soon as you change from the shortlist to the full display mode. You can enter the user name and password gast into the entry boxes. The system then recognises you as a guest user and you can apply the functions named above to two records. You can find information on payment and subscriptions here.

Please note that many institutions (universities, schools) have subscribed to a multiple licence, thus you might be able to use the database to its full extent.
